Projects

In Summer 2017, I began working with Mackenzie Creamery on new imagery for their website and marketing. I've photographed their chèvre flavors styled individually, the Mackenzie grounds & founders, and the cheese-making process. I also had the pleasure of eating plenty of delicious chèvre. This is just a sampling of the work I've made for Mackenzie thus far.

I had so much fun working with Free Period Press on their Kickstarter campaign for “Come Over All The Time: A Creative Guest Book” in early spring 2018. I worked with Lora and Erin to create media for use across the campaign. We staged setups with the book in a number of cozy domestic spaces, in Erin’s workspace as a colorful “neutral” backdrop, and with a blank backdrop. I also created a video to accompany the campaign.

Come Over All The Time

For the past five years, I've been documenting The Commonwealth  at almost every live show they've played. This is only a small slice of the images I've made for them. If you'd like to see more, check out my Exposure story documenting the band throughout 2014.

Lauren Herzak-Bauman, of Lauren H-B Studio ceramics, gave me free reign while photographing her colorful, geometric Fall 2016 collection. I focused on arranging the pieces with simple, contrasting backgrounds that would compliment her ceramics and really make them pop.

In August 2013, I collaborated with my partner,  Andrew Kuhar  of The Commonwealth , on the album art for their second LP,  Urban Soul .  With the permission of the RTA of Cleveland, we staged a couple embracing (friends and models Alex Koval and Lydia Munnell) on a platform at the Tower City subway station. For the back cover photograph, we found a textured space downtown to contrast with the clean sharpness of the cover. The inside photo is a candid moment captured of the band in another space at Tower City station.

Urban Soul

"Blur," my Senior Thesis work at Endicott College, is an exploration of androgyny, pansexuality, and gender ambiguity. In this series, I created images that cloud the presentation of gender and sexuality and presented them in combination with quotes from individuals who identify as pansexual, along with additional images of objects that act concurrently with the portraits.

"Street Address" is a project I made during my time studying abroad in London in Spring 2011. Inspired by the people in the neighborhood I lived in, Camden, I used a long lens to make portraits while wondering what the subjects' thoughts were.
