Photographing people, places and food in a mix of analog and digital formats.

My favorite projects are the ones that allow me to experiment with naturalistic lighting and spontaneous expression, particularly in portraiture. I have an inclination toward the tactility of film-based imagery and am currently learning to use an 8mm Bolex.

I was born in Newport, Rhode Island, and am now based in Cleveland, Ohio. I have been photographing since 2003, when I received my first digital camera and used it to make portraits backstage and in the dressing room while rehearsing plays. I studied at Endicott College and received a BFA in Photography. When I’m not making photographs, you’ll find me cooking, baking or watching movies.
